Who We Are:
“The Sydney Academy of Putting” is owned and operated by Glenn Palmer. The Academy was formed in early 2007 to expand his holistic approach to Putting and Putting Instruction. Glenn’s connection to putting has lead to the creation of over 15 putting products, including StrokeBuilder, which is currently used by over 100 Australian PGA teaching professionals and over 30 John Jacobs Golf Schools in the USA as well as numerous Putting Aids and Practise Drills. The ProMaster range of Portable Putting Mats is highly regarded by golfers as the most sought after Professional Grade Putting Surface on the market today.
Dissatisfied with the quality of Putting Mats available, Glenn created the ProMaster range of lightweight Portable Indoor Putting Mats for golfers. The importance of practising on a realistic putting surface is paramount to developing your unique awareness of speed. Glenn has also included a number of unique Putting Aids to assist with building a consistent and reliable putting stroke.

Glenn Palmer operates “The Sydney Academy of Putting” from a dedicated Putting Studio located in Caringbah NSW. Glenn utilises a range of teaching tools and the latest in Putting technology for measuring, monitoring and maintaining a consistent and reliable putting stroke.
Mobile Tuition:
We realise today that people live busy life’s. Allocating time to practise when it comes to Putting can be difficult. Imagine having a Putting Lesson in the convenience of your own home. We have a convenient and personalised service suitable to all golfers. We have developed a unique mobile teaching platform that we use which takes only minutes to set up and adaptable in virtually any sized area.
What We Offer:
We have developed individual and multiple lesson programs designed to make improving your putting both easy and effective. The theories and drills incorporated within the lessons will assist you in building a consistent and reliable putting stroke, no matter what your skill level. We’ll also give you the ability to teach yourself the key factors of putting well. You’ll be able to watch and monitor your own progress, detect mistakes before they become too serious and develop a greater sense of feel for putting. The skills learnt will be with you always.
We recommend at least two lessons over a 4 week period. We actually encourage you to practice and leave a ProMaster Putting Mat and several training aids with you to practice on in between lessons.
Our Aim:
Our aim is to make you the best putter that you can be. There is not one mould for everyone to use when it comes to putting. We assess your ability, your goals and then work with you to implement a strategy using the right tools and equipment. Improving your putting is the quickest way to lowering your score and reducing your handicap. Simply by spending time building consistency you will see your confidence levels increase and a flow on effect in other areas of your game. We can work on the following to make you a better putter.
